Terms of use

By using Make It Pop you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

• What it is. A free, humorous card game about the funny side of design work. All quotes and scenes are made-up jokes. They don’t describe any real person, client or company, and any likeness is a coincidence.
• Your result. Your score and title are a joke, not a professional assessment of you or your work. You may share the result picture for any lawful purpose.
• As is. The app is provided free and “as is”, without any warranty. It may contain errors, look different on your device, be unavailable, or change or stop at any time without notice.
• Liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, STUDIO MERLIN, s.p. is not liable for any damage or loss arising from using or not being able to use the app, or from what others do with pictures you share. As the app is free, our total liability is limited to zero euros.
• Your indemnity. If someone makes a claim against us because of how you used or shared the app or its pictures, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses.
• What we don’t limit. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent, gross negligence or harm to life or health caused by our fault, or your mandatory consumer rights.
• The design. The app itself (its look, code, illustrations and texts) belongs to STUDIO MERLIN, s.p. Please don’t copy the app.
• Law. Slovenian law applies. Courts in Slovenia have jurisdiction, unless your mandatory consumer rights say otherwise.
• Changes. We may update these terms at any time. The version on this page applies.

Privacy

• Your answers stay with you. The game runs entirely in your browser. We don’t receive or store your answers, scores or pictures.
• On your device. The app saves which cards you saw last time in your browser’s local storage, so the next round shows new ones. You can clear it in your browser settings.
• Server logs. Like any website, our server briefly records technical data (IP address, time, page requested, browser type) to keep it running and secure. We don’t use it to identify you. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
• No cookies, no tracking, no ads. So there is no cookie banner.
• Your rights. You can ask us about your data, or to correct or delete it, by writing to tassh@studio-merlin.com. You can also complain to the Slovenian data protection authority: Informacijski pooblaščenec, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, www.ip-rs.si.
